Q: How do I get an API key for my Ejoin Gateway?
A: For access outside your local network:

1). Port Forwarding (For Advanced Users)

  1. Configure your router to forward ports (default: TCP 80)
  2. Set up DDNS if you don't have a static public IP
  3. Enable firewall restrictions to only allow trusted IPs

2). Cloud Proxy (Recommended)

  1. Use EjoinTech's ETMS Cloud Service 
  2. Alternatively set up a VPS for secure tunneling

Q: How to Access the Software for Ejointech Gateway, and does it cost extra?
A: Ejointech devices come with built-in web-based software—no additional installation or fees required. 
  1. Local Access (Web GUI):

    • Connect your Ejointech device and computer to the same network (via Ethernet or Wi-Fi).
    • Open a browser (Chrome/Firefox recommended) and enter the default IP (e.g., http://192.168.1.67).
    • Log in with the default credentials (provided in the manual page 10).

Q: What is the ETMS software used for?
A: ETMS is used to centrally manage multiple devices remotely on the Cloud.

Q: What is the Premium EIMS software?
A: The Premium EIMS software is a paid version designed for wholesale and retail SMS purposes, allowing integration with third-party systems or SMS vendors.

Q: Can I integrate your products with my own system or applications?

Q: I can't access my EjoinTech gateway at 192.168.1.67. How do I change the IP address?

Q: What does an SMS gateway do?

A: An SMS Gateway enables a computer to send and receive SMS over the global telecom network. It translates messages to ensure compatibility for network delivery.

Q: What’s the difference between ACOM664L-64 and ACOM664L-512?
A: • ACOM664L-512: 64 ports, 8 SIM slots per port (total 512 SIMs). Only 1 SIM per port can be active at a time, with automatic switching.
• ACOM664L-64: 64 ports, 1 SIM per port, supporting 64 active SIMs simultaneously.

Q:What is the advantage of having 8 channels vs 16 channels vs 32 channels, if there are 512 SIM cards?
A: 8-channel model:
8 ports, max each with 4 SIM slots (8 × 4 = 32 SIMs total).
Only 8 SIMs can be active simultaneously (1 per port).
Switching overhead: Each port must cycle through 4 SIMs, introducing latency (e.g.,2 minutes per switch for network re-registration). 

16-channel model:
16 ports, each with 32 SIM slots (16 × 32 = 512 SIMs total).
16 SIMs active at once (double concurrency vs. 8-channel).
Lower switching latency: Each port manages fewer SIMs (32 vs. 64), reducing queue time.

32-channel model:
32 ports, each with 16 SIM slots (32 × 16 = 512 SIMs total).
32 SIMs active simultaneously (4× concurrency vs. 8-channel).
Fastest switching: Minimal delay per SIM (fewer slots per port = faster cycling).

Q: How does SIM switching work on multi-SIM models like ACOM664L-512?
  • Auto-rotation: Changes SIM every 1.5-2 minutes (recommended)
  • Manual control: Available in web interface
  • Note: 1:1 (e.g., 32-port 32-SIM, 64-port 64-SIM) models all sims keep active ,no need rotation

Q: What’s the recommended SIM switch time for multi-SIM models?
A: Every 2 minutes per SIM slot. For an 8-slot port, a full rotation takes ~16 minutes.

Q: How can a single SIMBANK work with multiple gateways?
A: A 128-port SIM pool can connect to:
• 8 × 16-port gateways
• 4 × 32-port gateways
• 2 × 64-port gateways
• Or a flexible combination.

📲 SIM & Usage

Q: How do I get my SIM card number?
A: Run the AT command AT+CNUM on the AT Command page. If you need it to appear in the recipient field, refer to page 15 of the user manual.

Q: I have an ACOM664L-512. How do I switch cards to use all 512 SIMs?
A: Go to “Gateway Setting” → “Switch Card” and enable automatic SIM switching. For SMS receiving, enable “SIM ONLINE TIME Checking” and set online duration to 2 minutes per switch.
